AR (Accelerated Reader) Summer Testing Schedule:
Testing will be held in the OLPH School Computer Lab from 4:00 to 6:00.
The remaining dates are as follows: June 29, No testing on July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, and August 3 during Registration (7:30 A.M. to noon)

· Summer AR Reading Lists and Supply Lists for the 2011-2012 are available on the school website. Go to www.myolph.com/school, and click on the "Summer 2011" link.
· Student uniform policy is available on the school website. Go to www.myolph.com/school and click on "Uniform policy." The Creative Arts Guild anticipates opening St. Cecilia's Closet the weekend of July 23 and 24, during OLPH Mass times. More information will be provided closer to the time of the sale.
· Registration packets will be mailed to each family before the end of July. The information contained in the packet needs to be reviewed and updated by the parents and brought to Registration on Wednesday, August 3.
· VIRTUS training--VIRTUS is a program for the protection of children and youth. The training is mandated by the Diocese of Knoxville for all adults volunteering, chaperoning, or working with children. This includes faculty, staff, substitute teachers, coaches, classroom volunteers and boy/scout leaders. Registration is done online at www.virtus.org . VIRTUS training sessions will be held this spring and summer: St. Jude Church, Thursday, July 28, 6:00 P.M.; St. Stephen Church, Wednesday, August 17, 6:00 P.M.; St. Jude Church, Thursday, September 22, 1:00 P.M.; and St. Jude Church, Thursday, November 1, 6:00 P.M.
· OLPH School is accepting applications for the 2011-2012 school year for students in Pre-K (4 yr. old) through 8th grade. SPORTS: Sports physicals
· Sports physicals: We are scheduling OLPH parents/doctors to perform TSSAA sports physicals for the student athletes in grades 4th through 8th who anticipate participating in sports during the 2011-2012 school year. The physicals will be given during Registration Day, scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, from 7:30 to noon in the school gym. The physicals will cost $10 per student athlete, which is donated to the OLPH Booster Club. Physical forms are available in the school office and on our website, www.myolph.com, under "Athletics." The forms do require parent signatures.
