Oktoberfest--OLPH
is fortunate to be a part of the Oktoberfest celebration weekend at the
Chattanooga Market, October 13 -14. This is an awesome fundraising
opportunity in a festive atmosphere and a great chance for you to earn
your PIP hours!
o
Shifts are
available for set-up Friday, October 12 at 5pm, in two hour shifts from 9am
to 7 pm Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
o
The
easiest way to sign up for a time slot is to go to: http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/104103896360102
. You don't have to sign up for an account with the site. The site will ask for
your email address (only used to send you a reminder) and then take you to the
calendar to sign up for a specific time and job. When you click on a day, you
will be able to see which jobs are still open (you can even click on the word
"filled" to see who is already signed up). Then click "sign up
here!" for the slot you want, and "save and close" at the
bottom. Before you exit, it will ask for your name and phone # please do add
that, and check the little box, if you don't want advertising emails to follow.
You're done! You will get an email saying you have signed-up, and another
closer to event time as a reminder.
o
If you
are going to be out of town, you can still help! We can use donations of canned soda and bottled water. Chattanooga Market allows us to bring in
Coke products only. We can also
use paper products. Contact Cissy West at cwest@catholicweb.com
for specifics.
o
