OLPH Volleyball Camp--Any fourth through eighth graders interested in playing volleyball, Mrs. Tinney and Coach Close are having an OLPH volleyball camp on June 9-13, 12:30 - 3:30 P.M. in the OLPH Gym.  Forms are available in the school office.
  
Bernard Lisy was named to the ISC Boys All Star Tennis Team.  Way to go Bernard! 

It is not too late to sign up for the Catholic Football Skills Clinic and camp.  The Football camp is June 9-13, 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.  The camp is open to all rising 2nd-8th grade.  Camp t-shirt and daily snack will be provided.  Cost is $75 with need based scholarships available.

Congratulations to 4th grader Ty Dearing for winning the Chattanooga Area Soap Box Derby, Super Stock Division.  Ty will represent Chattanooga at the All-American Soap Box championships in Akron, Ohio during the last week of July.   

Rising 9th grade girls who are interested in playing Volleyball for NDHS tryouts will be held Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday May 27th from 5:30 - 7:30 P.M.  for more information contact Coach Ted Hackett at 423-290-9198 or at hackettj@gmail.com.

The yearbook committee is now taking orders for the 2013-2014, yearbook.  Order forms are available in the front office.  Price per yearbook: $30 before May 20 ($35 after May 20). There are a limited number of yearbooks so order early.

Football:
Did you miss the football meeting this past Tuesday? No problem! We will be having a Spring Football practice for all rising 2nd, 3rd, 4thand 5th graders on Monday at 5:00 on the OLPH Football field. They can wear shorts, t-shirts, and cleats/sneakers. This will be a great opportunity for the boys to see what it’s all about and have a little fun at the end of the school year! Friday, May 16th, we will be having an OLPH Adult Social in the PLC from 7:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M.  Come enjoy a fun evening.  Cost is free, but we do ask that you bring an appetizer or dessert to share, along with whatever you wish to drink.  Child care will not be provided so be sure to start looking for a babysitter now so you can join the fun.

OLPH Volleyball Camp--All middle school volleyball players and any fourth through eighth graders interested in playing volleyball, Mrs. Tinney and Coach Close are having an OLPH volleyball camp on June 9-13, 12:30 - 3:30 P.M. in the OLPH Gym.  Forms are available in the school office.

Grade School Volleyball Camp--Irish Volleyball Camp for rising 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will be held July 9th through July 11th, 2014, from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. , at Notre Dame High School. The cost is $60.00 per player. This camp is an introduction to volleyball for girls and boys! The camp will be supervised by the NDHS Volleyball players, under the supervision of the Notre Dame coaching staff. This will be a very hands on and fun camp, finishing with a match on Friday the 11th for all parents to come watch! All campers will receive a camp t-shirt and any camper who is registered and paid in full by June 1st, 2014, will be entered into a drawing  to receive their camp experience for  free. Registration forms can be found at the OLPH School Office or you can register online at http://www.myndhs.com .

Middle School Volleyball Camp--Irish Volleyball Camp for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be held July 14th through July 16th, 2014, at Notre Dame High School. The cost is $150.00 per player. The session dates and times are July 14th: 12-2:30 P.M. and 3:30-6:00 P.M.; July 15th: 8:30-11:00 A.M., 12-2:30 P.M., and 3:30 - 6:00 P.M., and July 16th: 8:30-11:00 A.M., and 12:2:30 P.M. The Middle Tennessee State university Satellite camp is hosted by NDHS Volleyball. MYSU coaches and players instruct the campers in basic and intermediate skills. This is an engaging and fun camp experience and highly recommended by the coaching staff at Notre Dame. Campers may remain on campus during their breaks and should bring nutritious lunches, drinks, and snacks for their break times. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt! Any camper who is registered and paid in full by June 1st, 2014, will be entered in a drawing to receive their camp experience for $75.00! Registration forms can be found at the OLPH School Office or contact Coach Ted Hackett at hackettj@gmail.com and a registration form can be sent via email.

There will be an informational meeting about football for all rising 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade boys. The meeting will be on Tuesday, May 13th at 5:00 p.m. on the OLPH football field. We will cover plans for the upcoming season and also need to get an idea of how many boys are interested in playing.  We need a good turn out to have enough to field a team, so we hope to see many of you there!
