INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: In the event of inclement weather, OLPH follows the Hamilton County school system for the first day. After the first day, OLPH administrators will make decisions about the opening or closing of OLPH independently of the public schools. All local network television stations will be called as early as possible to indicate the closing of the school. We will post a closing on our website, www.myolph.com. Please note that most television stations will not put school openings on the air. If you do not see OLPH listed as closed, we will be open. This procedure does not pertain to illness. If Hamilton County Schools close due to illness, we will remain open. OLPH School will be specifically listed as "closed due to illness" if necessary.

For the 6th consecutive year the OLPH football team will represent MAKUS (Michael Appleby Keeping Us Safe) at the Ooltewah/Collegedale Christmas Parade. The parade is this Sunday, December 7th at 3:00 pm, on Little Debbie Parkway. Players, arrive at 2:00 pm, with Santa hats and a bag of candy. Please go to www.olphfootball.com for more information.

The Creative Arts Guild is selling Christmas ornaments after all Masses this weekend at OLPH Church. The beautiful brass ornaments feature detailed cutouts of OLPH Church and School. They make a perfect gift for church members, students, and alumni. The cost is $10 per ornament. All proceeds benefit the school arts programs. Order forms were sent home with each student.

You are invited to a "Meet and Greet" for Fr. Alex Waraksa, Associate Pastor at OLPH Church, and Dr. Sherry Morgan, Superintendent of Schools, in the school gym after 8:15 Mass on Friday, December 12th.
