Report Cards will be sent home on Wednesday,
January 14th with students.
If there is a balance of $25 or more for lunch or aftercare and/or a
uniform that has not been turned in the student's report card will be held.

February 14th 2015--Chattanooga's signature Mardi Gras Event. Enjoy a wonderful Cajun buffet dinner,
dancing to the fabulous party band, Love, Peace, and Happiness, live and silent

St. Stephen's
Catholic Church at 7111 Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, TN will be hosting a truly unique
chastity program for parents and teens in 7th and 8th
grade to come together to discuss life's most important issues. The program is presented by Family Honor,
Inc., and is called Real Love & Real Life. It will be held on Saturday, February 7,
2015 from 8:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.
Deadline for registering is Friday, January 30, 2015. Space is limited so register online soon at
HYPERLINK, http://www.familyhonor.org. There is no charge for this program (though donations will be
requested).

The annual big project for Makers Club for this year is a
10 to 20 minute movie. We will film, edit and show our movie as well as
make it available for download and on YouTube. This project is a
long and challenging one which will have many parts over the next few
months:
o
January production: These
meetings are for young people interested in writing the script, designing the
props and working on learning how to film video. It is open to all October and
December Makers Club members and to students in 5th grade and up.
o
January: Auditions rehearsal and
pre-production. Meetings on the 13th, 20th and 27th. We may
also have additional rehearsals as we near filming. Auditions for parts
will be the 20th and 27th. Auditions will be from 4 until 5:30 both days. A parent or guardian needs
to be at the auditions. Any student who auditions will get a part if they
wish. Auditions are to find what part they fit. There are many extras needed
for some segments. Parts are open to any student of any age as there are
lots of parts we will be filming.
o
February: principal photography-
Days and times will be announced as we near. We will need to film some
days other than just Tuesdays. Meetings on 3rd 10th 17th and 24th plus
other days and times as needed.
o
March: Finish
photography and start editing. This is open to 5th graders and up who
participated in the pre-production team. Meetings the 3rd 10th 17th and 24th
there is no meeting on the 31st. There are at least two days when we plan
to be filming away from the school where a parent or guardian will need to be
present. There are days when we will be filming group scenes where we
will need more than just our regular cast.
o
More details will come out about that later. There is no charge
