The Senior High Youth Group of OLPH Parish, under the guidance of Mrs. Donna Jones, is helping to meet the needs of homeless young people and their families who are finding shelter at the "Room in the Inn". The Inn is full right now, and some of the adults must stay outside. To help them, the seventh grade is collecting small (travel size) containers of shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Boxes are placed throughout the school for collection of these items. Donations of sleeping bags or tents would also be appreciated. On Wednesday, December 19, Mrs. Jones will speak to the seventh grade about the Room in the Inn. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Patti Morrison at 423-715-6415.
