The yearbook committee
is now taking orders for Public Display of Affection (PDA) ads for the
yearbook. Commemorate your special
student(s) with an ad in the yearbook.
What better way to remember kindergarten year, First Communion, and
other events. Ads range in price from $25
for ¼ of a page to $100 for a full page ad.
Call the school office 622-1481, or contact Carlene Evans; bigorange@catholicweb.com for more information. Yearbook order forms have
gone home with students.
Our Spring Art Show is quickly approaching and we need
your artwork to make it happen. All entries will be displayed in the PLC
on Friday, May 2 and judged by professional artists. The
deadline to submit artwork for the show is Friday April 25. Please bring
your framed 2D artworks and 3D pieces (clay, paper sculptures, kites,
etc.) to Madonna Hall. Artwork that was made outside of art class is acceptable
but entries from art class are especially encouraged! Submissions
need to have the students' names and grades posted on the front of the
work. Plan to visit the PLC on Friday, May 2nd, after the Grandparents'
Day program to view artwork and congratulate ribbon winners.
Also,
if you are free on Thursday May 1st during the school day, Ms.
Crumely would greatly appreciate volunteers to help set up in the PLC. Let her
know if you are able to help out.

upcoming 2014-2015 school year. If you
are interested in getting involved in this vital organization, please join us
at this meeting and/or contact Bob McPeak at rsmamm@epbfi.com.

fun.
Annamarie Todd, a 5th
grade student at OLPH, was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Her family has formed a team for the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to Cure Diabetes in order to raise money to
help fight this disease. As a service project, the 5th grade class is
helping to raise money for this cause to support Annamarie and her family. If you wish you may send in a donation (cash
or check made out to OLPH) next week or go on-line; http://www2.jdrf.org/site/TR?team id=3283 to make a
contribution. We will be collecting
money for one week only. If you are
unable to make a monetary contribution, please pray for a cure. Miracles happen!
