·        OLPH License Plates are now available in the school office for $5.00.
·        ChattiGras: February 14th 2015--Chattanooga's signature Mardi Gras Event.  Enjoy a wonderful Cajun buffet dinner, dancing to the fabulous party band, Love, Peace, and Happiness, live and silent auctions, and casino games.  Everyone who purchases tickets before January 1, 2015 will be eligible for a drawing to win a free night's stay that evening at the Chattanooga Marriott. Don't miss out!  Sponsors and auction items are still needed. For information on auction or sponsorship and to purchase tickets at $75 each, visit www.chattigras.com.
·        The last two Scrip orders before Christmas will be placed on December 9th and 16th.  If you have your Presto Pay account set up, you can continue to place orders for Scrip Now and print off gift certificates for all your holiday shopping.  Be sure to take a few minutes on Thanksgiving Day to check out the special rebates being offered at www.shopwithscrip.com.  A parent volunteer will be stationed just inside the main doors on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 7:45 A.M. - 8:15 A.M. to make shopping from Scrip inventory quick and easy.
·        Come and enjoy Breakfast with Santa, hosted by the OLPH Home and School Association, on Saturday, December 6th.  Kids can enjoy crafts in the gym, along with pictures with Santa provided by Image Photography.  A full breakfast with all the fixings will be served in the PLC.  To keep the wait time for pictures at a minimum, click the link below to sign up for up for your time slot. Pictures begin at 7:30 A.M. and breakfast will be served from 7:45 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. ·        Current middle school students (6th, 7th and 8th grade) of OLPH and St. Jude only are invited to a "Winter Wonderland" dance on Saturday, December 6th from 7-10 P.M.  This dance will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 313 Sylvan Street, Chattanooga, TN 37405.  Entry fee of $10 entitles you to dancing to hit music by DJ April Eberly, beverages and light snacks.  Dress attire is semiformal.  (In accordance with Catholic School dress policy, modest attire is required for entry into the dance).

The Catholic 6th grade team (OLPH and St. Jude students playing for the Scenic City league) has a record of  9-1, and is set to play in the Scenic City Super Bowl on Saturday, November 22nd at Finley Stadium at 4:00 P.M.

·        OLPH School and Parish are helping Catholic Charities with their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.  Food will be collected for 200 families this year.  Please send in the following food items by Friday, November 21st, in the collection containers in each of the school buildings and Holy Family Hall.  The food baskets will be assembled on Sunday, November 23rd at 2:00 P.M. in the OLPH Parish Life Center.  If your family would like to help assemble the food baskets please contact Cissy West at cwest@catholicweb.com or 423-622-1481.  Thank you for helping others.  Pre-K - Jiffy Cornbread Mix    1st and 2nd grade - Canned Yams
·           3rd and 4th grade - Cranberry Sauce or Green Beans   5th and 6th grade - Stove Top Stuffing or Corn  7th and 8th grade - Instant Mashed Potatoes.
·        Breakfast with Santa is on Saturday, December 6th reservation information will be coming soon. Save the date to see Santa!
·        Thursday, November 20th will be our annual Thanksgiving lunch.  If you plan to attend, please have your reservation in the school office no later than Tuesday, November 18th by 3:00 P.M.  There will be no exceptions.  Please check lunch times because they are subject to change.  Price for lunch is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.  Water is available for an extra charge of $1.00.  You must check in at the office to get a ticket before coming to lunch.  Thank you.
