FISH FRY / FAMILY BINGO FUN NIGHT will be hosted by the Home & School Association on Friday, February 6th at 7:00 PM in the PLC, following the K of C First Friday Fish Fry. If every parent could bring in one toy to give away as a Bingo prize we would have plenty of Bingo prizes. This will be a great way to meet some new people, get to know a little better those that you have already met, and have some good old-fashioned fun with your family. Donations of prizes will also be accepted that evening. Again, the more prizes we gather the more fun this will be for the kids. Now is an opportune time to purchase toys (games, Barbie dolls, Silly Putty, sidewalk chalk, sports balls) at an after-Christmas-sale price. Even the Dollar Store has some fun things for the kids. So, please join us and send in one prize with your child/children by Thursday, February 5th for the Family Bingo Fun Night on Friday, February 6th. Bingo cards will be sold for 50 cents to cover the cost of supplies. Questions contact homeandschool@catholicweb.com

Attention students, parents and guardians: Coach Close will be visiting 5th through 8th grade classrooms the week of January 12th to talk to students about spring sports--track, golf, tennis, baseball, softball, lacrosse-- to see how many students are interested in participating. Scheduling will begin soon for the spring teams; therefore, enough students need to sign up by Wednesday, January 14 in order to form a team. If you have any questions please contact Coach Close at 423-622-1481 or tclose1717@bellsouth.net. Coaches will also be needed, and will need to be Virtus trained.

Using Scrip gift cards to purchase items that you normally purchase benefits OLPH School. You can download a Scrip order form off the OLPH website or pick up an order form in the School Office or Development Office.

OLPH Food Drive: Please help the 3rd grade Brownie troop gather food for the OLPH food pantry and Ladies of Charity. The food theme for January is "beverages" - tea bags, instant coffee, regular coffee, apple juice, beverage powders (such as "Tang"), etc. Boxes are located in the entryway of each school building. Different food themes will be announced each month. Also, a reminder the OLPH Church "Good Samaritan" food drive is the first Sunday of every month.
