The virtue for the month of May is "Gentleness" (in my manner and words). Christian gentleness is shown in how we solve problems with those around us and how we care for people in need. We follow Jesus' example of the Good Samaritan as we treat our neighbors and friends with gentleness. St. Paul tells us in Galatians 5:22-23 to let the Holy Spirit direct our lives. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, lived her life following the fruits of the Holy Spirit thus allowing the Spirit to direct her life.
